Tips from a practitioner who happens to be my buddy from way back. Time for me to pay attention to this. I wasn’t blogging when Rich’s post originally appeared. Now I’m in the very early stages of establishing what I hope will be a regular stop for those interested in the nexus of missions, theology, and computers where I live and work. I’ve been testing whether I had enough to say to sustain this thing and I’ve got a lot of material ready to flow over the dam, so I’m at the point of letting people know and getting past talking to myself.
I gave up on my previous blog. It was something that required too much time and emotional energy to keep up with. This “tumblr” alternative was recommended to me as a way to keep a blog alive (posting often enough that someone might actually visit it) while at the same time requiring a minimum of fuss. I intend to play with it for a while before announcing it’s here so that I don’t send readers down a blind alley.
